I’m not a musician, well, I disagree on that and agree on that as much as the wind changes. For me, I believe that a musician is someone who understands the process behind music, that can play a little (i can get by on my own). someone who learns to appreciate music more so then the average human. All of these I have.
I laugh when I hear people that are more talented in these aspects brag about it… and then when I see them waste their talents on partying and being dumb… I feel sorry for what they truly missing out on. Music helps me in every day life. It is there with me when I wake up and when I go to sleep. I don’t have to brag about it to show off for some girl… because my girl knows my love for music. I don’t say, “he is where I should be.” cause if thats where YOU should be then you’d be there. I hate to hear people say, I don’t have the money or the gear or whatever it is to record. Because there are people out there that have nothing and find ways to get their music out. Its just an excuse of your fear of failure.
I really don’t know where I’m getting at.
Just listen to Jeremy Larson… he is everything a true musician show be.
